PLASTICS

Machining

Excelling in plastics

Founded in 1981 and headquartered in Northfield, New Hampshire, EPTAM Plastics is the largest North American manufacturer of machined plastic products and assemblies. Our 285+ engineers, production specialists, and quality experts operate from a 100,000+ sq. ft. campus purpose-built for precision.
We serve OEM leaders in Medical Device, BioPharma, Robotic-Assisted Surgery, Semiconductor, and Aerospace/Defense — delivering tight-tolerance, mission-critical components across 3-, 5-, and 7-axis machining, CNC turning, Swiss, and milling. As an FDA-registered, ISO 13485:2016 facility with 10+ CMM probe and vision systems, we don’t just machine to spec — we prove compliance.
But precision at this level doesn’t begin at the machine. It begins with a design conversation and carries through material selection, machining, metrology, and final QA without losing the original intent. Our sales, engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams operate as one system — not a handoff chain. That’s what makes consistent outcomes possible across thousands of parts and dozens of programs.

Precision isn't a moment.

Material selection assistance and direct purchase from the strategic stock shape suppliers to support your project.

Mastering Precision

EPTAM’s DFM process doesn’t end at design sign-off. It continues through tooling development, first article inspection, and production scaling – so that the intent of the design is protected every step of the way. With 500+ unique polymers, CMM expertise, and in-house automation build, we don’t just manufacture to spec. We manufacture to performance.

Materials

Materials offer a wide range of characteristics, and EPTAM’s team of engineers and DFM specialists understand how to select and work with the proper materials. EPTAM recognizes the need for speed to market, deliverability, and supply-chain management. Fortunately, for many EPTAM customers, EPTAM’s market position and size help meet these constantly changing demands.
