Inside Our Manufacturing Plant

Equipment

Tornos Nanos

Supporting EPTAM’s focus for micro parts for medical device OEM’s, we have dedicated ourselves to utilizing the SwissNano line of machines. They are the industry standard machining center for small work pieces requiring high precision.

EPTAM has chosen to expand its usage of this line recognizing early the industry pivot to minimally invasive surgical interventions. We have seen results in the following ways:

HAAS VF-4SS

Our Haas high-performance super-speed vertical machining centers  are a key part of our milling department here at EPTAM. They provide the high spindle speeds, fast rapids, and quick tool changes necessary for high-volume production and reduced cycle times.

The VF-4SS is a workhorse taking on both PEEK and Titanium parts with ease.

Mazak Integrex i-150

The INTEGREX i-150 advanced Multi-Tasking machine from Mazak is a growing part of our milling cell. The INTEGREX i-150 has a small footprint but packs a big punch. With 12+ machines in use we leverage its versatility, high precision and throughput for the complex parts we create.

The machine combines the capabilities of a high-powered turning center and full-function machining center to produce parts in single setups. A programmable, workpiece handling device allows milling operations to the back face. This machine configuration works to minimize fixtures, tools, handling and non-cut time.
With our continued purchases of Mazak Integrex Machines, we are prepared to deliver for you.
